Dr. Yash Gulati

Dr. Yash Gulati is one of India’s most distinguished orthopaedic surgeons, with over 35 years of experience at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital — India’s first JCI-accredited hospital, which he joined at its very inception. He holds the rare distinction of being the youngest orthopaedic surgeon to receive the Padma Shri — India’s fourth highest civilian award — and was honoured as the Honorary Surgeon to the President of India in 2016.  Trained at Maulana Azad Medical College (Delhi), the University of Liverpool (UK), and the Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland), Dr. Gulati performed India’s first-ever Endoscopic Disc Surgery and has delivered over 500 lectures at national and international conferences. He specialises in primary and revision knee and hip replacement, spine surgery, and sports medicine.  Dr. Gulati has operated on former Prime Ministers, the President of India, senior military officers, and international sportspersons including cricketer Anil Kumble.
