Dr. T.S. Kler is one of India’s most celebrated interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists, honoured with the Padma Bhushan — India’s third-highest civilian award — for his outstanding contributions to cardiac medicine. With over 40 years of experience, he currently serves as Chairman & HOD of the BLK-Max Heart & Vascular Institute in New Delhi. Dr. Kler has performed over 35,000 coronary, renal, carotid, and peripheral angioplasties — one of the highest volumes in Asia. He is a pioneer in cardiac electrophysiology and pacemaker implantation in India, having introduced several advanced techniques to the country. He previously served as Director of Cardiac Sciences at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, where he succeeded Dr. Naresh Trehan, before leading the Heart & Vascular Institute at Fortis FMRI and subsequently joining BLK-Max.
