Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin is Asia’s most celebrated liver transplant surgeon, with over 3,500 liver transplants performed — making Medanta’s liver transplant programme Asia’s #2 centre globally. He pioneered the adult living donor liver transplant (LDLT) technique in India in 1998 and has since trained the next generation of liver transplant surgeons across Asia.
He led India’s first 3-way liver transplant swap, holds multiple world records in liver transplantation, and has been recognised with the Padma Shri — India’s fourth-highest civilian honour — for his extraordinary contribution to liver transplant medicine.
