Dr. Anil Mandhani

Dr. (Prof) Anil Mandhani is one of India’s most accomplished urological surgeons and a pioneer of robotic urology in the country, currently serving as Chairman of Urology, Uro-Oncology & Kidney Transplant at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram.  With 35+ years of experience, Dr. Mandhani has performed over 600 robotic urological procedures and over 1,170 kidney transplants — one of the highest volumes in North India. He received his Fellowship in Robotic Uro-Oncology from Cornell University / New York Presbyterian Hospital, and is a recognised expert in robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, and complex urological cancer surgery.  Prior to FMRI, Dr. Mandhani was Professor of Urology at Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow, where he trained over 100 urology residents in the MCh programme — making him one of India’s most respected urology educators.
